Dhaka: The prize-giving ceremony of the Model United Nation Session-One (Shadow United Nation Session-One) competition organized at the Baridhara Campus of the University of Information Technology and Science (UITS) was held at the Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort at 3:30 pm on Sunday.

The International Global Affairs Council organized the two-day competition with the participation of 358 students from nineteen colleges in Dhaka with the aim of building excellent leadership. Enamul Haque Sarkar, the chairperson of Paramount International School Dhaka and Paramount International Consultants, acted as a pioneer for students to demonstrate diplomatic skills and engage in meaningful debates on global issues.

In the program, Enamul Haque Sarkar said in an inspiring speech that the students of Bangladesh should reveal their immense potential and come up on the global stage. Our aim is not only to raise our head in front of the world by leading Bangladesh, but also to qualify to take on the challenge of leading the world. Secretary General: Marzia Jannat Tayeba played the role of Secretary General of the Model United Nations.

The IGAC Model United Nations conference featured various awards to recognize outstanding participants. These awards include Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, Special Mention, and Honorable Mention. Delegates are evaluated based on their knowledge of the topic, diplomacy, public speaking, and collaboration skills. Winning an award can be a rewarding acknowledgment of a delegate's performance in representing a country or position during the conference.
