Dhaka, May 14 2024 : The decision to keep educational institutions open on Saturdays, as a means to make up the syllabuses following a 9-day closure prompted by an extreme heatwave, will be lifted after Eid-ul-Azha. Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury made the announcement at a press conference at the Ministry of Education on Sunday (May 12) afternoon. When asked about keeping schools open on Saturday, the Education Minister said, “Since we missed classes about 9 days due to the heat wave, we are trying to make up the classes on Saturday. ঢাকা : ২০২৪ সালের মাধ্যমিক স্কুল সার্টিফিকেট (এসএসসি) ও সমমান পরীক্ষার ফলাফল প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। রোববার (১২ মে) সচিবালয়ে আয়োজিত সংবাদ সম্মেলনে ফলের বিস্তারিত তুলে ধরেন শিক্ষামন্ত্রী মহিবুল হাসান চৌধুরী। এতে দেখা গেছে, এবারের ৫১ শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের সব শিক্ষার্থী অকৃতকার্য হয়েছেন। ফলাফল বিশ্লেষণে দেখা গেছে, চলতি বছরে মোট ৩ হাজার ৭৯৯টি কেন্দ্রে এসএসসি ও সমমান পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এতে ২৯ হাজার ৮৬১টি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষার্থীরা অংশ নিয়েছেন। এরমধ্যে ২ হাজার ৯৬৮টি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের সব শিক্ষার্থী উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছেন। গত বছরের তুলনায় এবারে কেন্দ্রের সংখ্যা কমেছে। গেল বছর এসএসসি ও সমমান পরীক্ষায় মোট ৩ হাজার ৮১০টি কেন্দ্রে পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। কেন্দ্র কমলেও বেড়েছে অংশ নেওয়া শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের…
